Victim Notification
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department would like to inform the citizens of Franklin County of a new public service opportunity at their disposal. The Tennessee Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification (SAVIN) is now available to the citizens of Franklin County. This service will inform a victim if an offender is in jail, transferred, escapes or is released from custody. This service is sponsored by the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence as well as the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

The notification process is operated by telephone or victims interested can register online at www.vinelink.com. Anyone who is or has been a victim of domestic or sexual violence should read the information provided on the Sheriff’s Dept. website or contact Sgt.
